About PMU
Permanent makeup, honestly documented
Permanent makeup (PMU) deposits pigment in the skin's upper layers to create long-lasting brows, lips, and eyeliner. Unlike a tattoo, PMU is designed to soften over time and typically needs refreshing every one to three years.
Fresh PMU work looks noticeably different from healed work — color settles, swelling goes down, and the final result can take four to six weeks to fully emerge. That's why every piece in this gallery is documented after healing, not on the day of the procedure: what you see here is what you'd actually walk around with.
Fitzpatrick skin type and skin condition both affect how pigment heals, which is why we tag each piece with that context — it helps you find results similar to your own skin, not just a flattering photo.
