Where we started
Tina Davies Professional was founded in 2015 on a simple idea: permanent makeup deserved better tools, better training, and better standards than the industry had at the time. A decade later, that's still the whole job.
A history of firsts
We've built our reputation on innovation. We created and patented the first disposable microblade, and the first no-drip tattoo needle cartridge — both now-standard tools that started here. We were also the first PMU company to bring in R&D and pigment science from the world's leading tattoo brands, instead of treating PMU as a separate, lesser craft.
A decade in the chair
Before any of this was a product or a platform, it was a studio. We've run a busy PMU practice for more than 10 years, and had the privilege of serving over 10,000 women — real clients, real results, real feedback about what actually works.
Artist-first, education-first
We know there's a real skills gap in this industry, and we don't think more tools alone close it — better education does. That's why we built The Collective+, the world's largest community platform for PMU professionals, and partnered with some of the best instructors in PMU to teach on it. Every decision we make, in the studio or in the products we build, gets weighed against one question: does this actually improve the outcome for the person in the chair?
A platform we hold to a standard
We care about this craft enough to protect it. Artists on our platform stand behind their own work, and we take it seriously when someone passes off another artist's photos as their own — it's not tolerated here.
Why this Gallery exists
Finding the right PMU artist has always meant scrolling through disconnected Instagram grids with no real way to compare results side by side. We built this Gallery to fix that — a place to see healed work, real specialties, and real artists, organized so you can actually compare before you book.
